DMS student heads to State Science Fair

DMS student Mariana Porras Arenales is the only D300 middle school student participating in the 2026 Illinois Junior Academy of Science (IJAS) State Science Fair. The event will be held on April 24–25, 2026, at the Banterra Center at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. This premier event showcases top middle and high school research projects from regional fairs, featuring over 1,800 participants.
